Powerade’s “Just a Kid” campaign makes a powerful statement. It says that we can reach the top of our game through hard work and determination, no matter where we get our start. That’s a message we can get behind. In order to bring this message to life, Powerade partnered with FortyFour to transform their national brand campaign into a custom product ecommerce experience.

We’re all just a kid from somewhere

Our work with CokeStore.com set the stage for our partnership with Powerade. Successfully designing, developing, and operating a custom ecommerce experience for a national brand allowed us to build trust with our clients and partners. So when we were challenged with executing a similar experience for Powerade, we were excited for the opportunity to prove ourselves again.
In this case, our challenge was a little different: we had to combine two experiences into one. We were tasked with uniting the “Just a Kid” campaign with the brand’s apparel lookbook to create one responsive experience where consumers could customize and purchase their apparel. The result was a best in class, responsive ecommerce extension of the brand campaign that drove sales and affinity for Powerade.
