Over the course of three months, we worked with the promotions team at Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim to create one of the largest and most integrated campaigns in the history of the iconic KFC brand.
We combined custom Robot Chicken animated shorts, a digital character creator that puts the winner’s character in an episode of Robot Chicken, a sweeps, and a variety of live components at Comic Con. The promotion was a huge success and continues to reposition the KFC brand as an alternative for the coveted 18-24 year old male segment.
The mobile destination was the leading source of traffic and more than 2500 characters were created on users’ smartphones.
