Quality Assurance Analyst (eCommerce)

FortyFour designs and implements large-scale e-Commerce platforms for our clients and a Quality Assurance Analyst will have a key role in delivering innovative solutions for major brands. You will work alongside a team of talented developers, business analysts and project managers in a structured Agile environment following all sprint ceremonies.

General Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements/user story reviews and provide estimates for testing efforts
  • Review ticket requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases; manage test cases on a sprint basis
  • Create project test cases and QA-related documentation; collaborate with project managers, business analysts and developers to develop thorough QA documentation
  • Write test plans and execute tests within distributed environments
  • Conduct functional and back-end testing on e-commerce websites and backend applications
  • Act as a liaison between the business and development teams to manage defects and provide defect resolution
  • Gather test data and effectively communicate results to the broader team
  • Participate in walk-through, demos, internal and external project meetings
  • Apply continuous improvement methods to uphold superior quality performance
  • Work across multiple project teams and multiple platforms


  • Hands-on experience using industry-standard software QA tools a plus
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence a plus
  • Familiarity with source code, version management, and code deployment standards
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment
  • Ability to work with offshore development team members
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent collaboration skill
