Overview

The Ecommerce Coordinator is an entry-level position for individuals who want to grow their career in ecommerce business, marketing, and technology. In this position, you’ll work alongside our members of our Commerce Team to drive sales growth and manage ecommerce operations with our clients. You’ll also work to coordinate tasks and information within the agency to successfully execute client deliverables.  In this role, you’ll work with different teams and client types to grow your ecommerce experience and platform knowledge to prepare you to lead client projects and accounts.

General Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with Commerce Team managers and director in driving revenue growth for clients
  • Complete platform administrative tasks critical to day-to-day operations of clients’ business
  • Utilize project management software to create and coordinate tasks with project resources including creatives (designers and copywriters) and developers (front-end devs, back-end devs, and architects)
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and reports as required
  • Perform daily and task-based QA to ensure appearance and performance of current client commerce sites and future enhancements
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in ecommerce field; create content for agency site and blog in ecommerce topics as required

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in ecommerce; internship work also accepted
  • BA in business, marketing or related field
  • Demonstrates knowledge of current business trends and ecommerce space
  • Demonstrates knowledge of ecommerce technology and strategies
  • Experience with Google Analytics in academic or professional setting
  • Highly functional with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and sense of urgency to resolve issues
  • Executes tasks thoroughly and efficiently
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to foster good working relationships within agency and with clients
  • Experience in brick-and-mortar retail setting is a plus
  • Certification with specified ecommerce platforms and software will be a requirement upon hire
