Can a brand drive more change and direct the future of philanthropy? As a recent article in Fast Company notes, our client CREDO Mobile is exploring how to do exactly that.

CREDO Mobile has always stood for progressive change and regularly engages its customers to support worthy causes. As millions of activists across the globe prepared for the March for Our Lives this past weekend, CREDO Mobile wanted to support those activists with anti-gun violence rallying cries. CREDO Mobile partnered with our design and content teams to create 12 unique posters decrying gun violence and the weapons lobby in the US. All twelve free posters are available for download here.

It’s work we’re proud to stand behind, and we’re proud to work with CREDO Mobile as they demonstrate how brands drive progressive change.

“Over the last 30 years, the company has given more than $85 million to socially-minded organizations. Decisions about how to spend that money are largely driven by CREDO Action, a 5-million-member political action network for both customers and allies. The network convenes a monthly process where its members nominate several organizations that may be in need; other members then vote to determine how distributions are apportioned,” writes Fast Company.

Through their members, CREDO Mobile has donated over $3 million overall to organizations working against gun violence. That includes Moms Demand Action, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, the Brady Campaign, and Amnesty International. CREDO’s Action Team has taken to the streets many times over the years to protest gun violence and the NRA, including planning their own marches and petitions. With over 400,000 engaged in the fight for gun control, CREDO Mobile has hosted online campaigns calling on congress to ban assault weapons, urging the Senate to block the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, and more.

We look forward to continuing our work with CREDO Mobile as they fight to create real change.
